TAIPEI -- PROMISE Technology, a global leader in enterprise storage, has announced plans to highlight its newest lineup of AI-focused storage solutions at COMPUTEX 2026. The company is shifting its message this year, placing a strong emphasis on energy efficiency and environmental responsibility alongside raw performance.
The new storage portfolio is designed to handle the heavy data demands of artificial intelligence workloads while reducing power consumption and physical footprint. PROMISE is targeting data centers and edge computing setups that need high-speed access to large datasets but are under pressure to meet sustainability goals.
Specific products on display will include all-flash arrays and hybrid systems optimized for AI training and inference. The company claims these systems can cut energy use by up to 30 percent compared to previous generations, thanks to improved cooling designs and more efficient controllers.
PROMISE executives say the move reflects a broader industry trend. As AI adoption grows, the energy cost of running massive storage farms has become a major concern. By focusing on greener hardware, the company hopes to attract customers who want to scale their AI operations without expanding their carbon footprint.
The showcase at COMPUTEX 2026 will also include live demonstrations of how the storage systems handle real-time data processing and large-scale model training. PROMISE will be located in the main exhibition hall, with technical staff available to discuss integration and deployment.
